    Anne Lise Kjaer is the founder and CEO of Kjaer Global, a company that has, for over thirty years, provided insights to governments and institutions to drive innovation.

    Kjaer is a renowned global futurist and bestselling author. She has the unique ability to translate fledgling concepts into viable commercial activities. Her career thus far has seen her work with some of the world’s leading brands, including Unilever, IKEA, Sony, Amazon, Swiss Live, Volvo, Toyota, and many others.

    However, her career started in Denmark. Anne Lise Kjaer worked in the design industry there before starting her company in 1988. She also lived and worked in Germany and France before choosing London as her base.

    A frequent commentator in the international press, she has featured on BBC, CNN, and Aljazeera, to name but a few. Anne Kjaer has also contributed to numerous academic papers and publications. The bestselling author of “The Trend Management Toolkit”, her offering considers current media and industry interests in such aspects as trend spotting, scenario planning, and disruptive innovation. In 2020, she contributed to “After Shock: The World’s Foremost Futurist Reflect on 50 Years of Future Shock – and Look Ahead to the Next 50”.

    Anne Lise Kjaer holds a BA in Design from TEKO Business School. Between 2005 and 2020, she served as a Copenhagen Goodwill Ambassador. In 2018, she was appointed the International Panel of Experts for Singapore’s Urban Development Authority (URA), supporting urban planning in 2060. Kjaer joined DEFRA, the ministerial Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (GOV.UK), in 2022.
