    A highly regarded urban strategist, Boyd Cohen focuses on urban innovation, entrepreneurship, smart cities, and urban mobility. A professor at EADA Business School and Universitat de Vic, he is the co-founder of the Sharing Accelerator Barcelona dedicated to the acceleration of responsible sharing economy startups. He is also the CEO and co-founder of iomob. His work at the latter sees him head a team of mobility and technology experts aiming to deploy the world’s first Mobility on Demand platform for enterprise with clients spanning Europe, North America, and Asia.

    The entrepreneur obtained his Ph.D. in strategy and enterprise at the University of Colorado in 2001. Since then, Boyd Cohen has spent the past twenty-plus years focused on accelerating the path to smart cities and a low-carbon sustainable economy. He has also taught MBA courses in sustainability at the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid, Spain, the Universidad de San Andrés in Argentina, La Universidad del Desarrollo in Chile, and at INCAE in Costa Rica.

    Besides publishing three bestsellers to date, Boyd Cohen has multiple peer-reviewed articles under his belt. His work has thus far been translated into multiple languages, including Hebrew, Dutch, Swedish, and Spanish.

    An advisor to green developments that include, amongst others, Vancouver’s Athlete’s Village and cities like Buenos Aires and Beaverton, Oregon, Boyd Cohen, a successful entrepreneur, has started numerous ventures in the smart cities and sustainability genre.
