An executive coach and advisor on leadership and culture, Fred Kofman has a Ph.D. in Economics with a specialization in industrial organization. He is a University of California, Berkeley, graduate.
The years 1990 to 1996 saw Fred Kofman as a distinguished professor of management information systems at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management. While there, he also served as a senior researcher at the Center for Organizational Learning.
Fred Kofman went on to found Axialant, a global consulting company focusing on the delivery of leadership programs to executives across the globe. He also founded and chaired the Conscious Business Center International. These organization train coaches using online programs.
His career outside the education sector is vast. He has coached senior executives from large multi-organizations. Amongst these, he includes LinkedIn, Axa, Chrysler, Mandiri Bank Indonesia, Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Yahoo, Vodafone Australia, and a wealth of others.
Fred Kofman became LinkedIn’s Vice President of Executive Development in 2013. His time with the company saw him and LinkedIn offer the Conscious Business Academy program to professionals around the world. Five years later, in 2018, he became Google’s vice president in charge of leadership and culture advisor to the CEO’s head office. He partnered with TED de Monterrey the same year to create the Conscious Leadership Center.
The author of three books on business management, Fred Kofman has seen his work translated into many different languages. The Conscious Enterprise book, which is available as a free audiobook, has been translated into 14 languages thus far.
As a conference speaker, Fred Kofman speaks on a variety of topics ranging from business development and growth to wellness and accountability. He is based in the US and presents in English and Spanish.
