Fred Sirieix, referred to by peers as the “Service Jedi” or “Service Guru”, boasts over 25 years’ experience in the hospitality industry. He is an inspiration to others and well respected within his field.
After going to catering college, Fred Sirieix started working at La Tante Claire, a 3-star Michelin restaurant as a Chef de Rang and in charge of a certain area of the restaurant. From there he went on to various other restaurants where he worked front of house before becoming general manager at Galvin at Windows, the restaurant situated on the 28th floor of the London Hilton Hotel.
But this was not the entirety of his life. Fred Sirieix went on to co-host the Michel Roux’s Service after which he went on to join Channel 4’s First Dates programme. In 2017, he featured in the spinoff, First Dates Hotel, and in 2018 became of the New BBC2 Series Million Pound Menu. The next year, 2019, saw him co-host Sep Up To The Plate for the BBC with Channel 4 announcing Fred Sirieix would host a series called Snackmasters.
Besides his work in the hospitality industry and in front of the camera, Fred Sirieix is involved in various charitable activities, and constantly makes time to speak at charitable events. He is also the author of two books, ‘Secret Service’ and ‘First Dates: The Art of Love’.
