Inma Shara has conducted Spain’s most important symphony orchestras and collaborated with some of the best in the world. Amongst these, she includes the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Israel Philharmonic, Czech National Symphony, Russian National Symphony, London Royal Philharmonic, Rome Symphony, Taiwan National Symphony Orchestra, and many others.
Her career has also seen Inma Shara direct many concerts in the presence of Queen Sofia of Spain as well as a concert presided over by Pope Benedict XVI at the Vatican. The latter marked the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
Awarded the European Excellence Award for her international projection and contribution to classical music, Inma Shara is also an Honorary Ambassador of the Spain Brand. This award, granted by the Forum of Renowned Brands, is for being one of the brightest representatives of the new generation of Spanish orchestra conductors and her outstanding professional career. The European Commission and SEEI invited her to conduct the concert marking the closure of Europe Day at the Shanghai Universal Expo that saw her head the Young European Orchestra.
While Sony Music has released several record projects in which she was the conductor, Inma Shara has also authored and published the book ‘The Invisible Baton’, a manual focusing on orchestral leadership. She has also gone on a successful Gospel music tour featuring African American music.
Although Inma Shara fills a role in the music world, her job sees her facing the same challenges as any leader of any sector or company manager. As a speaker, she talks about harmonizing teams composed of great, talented people and everything that this entails.
Inma lives in Spain and presents in Spanish.
