Starting out as a jazz musician, James Taylor recorded several best-selling jazz albums and toured the world. This period saw him perform with  artists such as pop singer Mick Hucknall, the Spice Girls’ Mel C, and French-Italian jazz violinist Stephane Grappelli.

But business stayed his passion, and for over more than twenty years, James Taylor has one aim in life: to help unlock the creative potential in one billion people. His career in this regard has seen him advising CEOs, entrepreneurs, governments, and even leaders from Silicon Valley to Singapore on how to build innovative organisations, unlock creative potential, and increase productivity. Amongst his many clients, he includes the likes of various industry associations, Fortune Global 500 companies, and government policymakers. He was also the star of a BBC documentary showcasing his life and work.

A creativity expert par excellence, James Taylor, through his writing, podcast show, and YouTube series has taught hundreds of people in over 120 countries about the art of science and creativity. He has also hosted multiple global summits and interviewed more than 750 of the world’s leading creative minds. His forthcoming book focusing on the creative process is titled SuperCreativity: Augmenting Human Creativity in the Age of Artificial Intelligence”.

As an international keynote speaker and recognised inspiration speaker, he has addressed conferences across the globe, including North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, and presented to the likes of such companies as Apple, IBM, TATA, Sony, Cisco, and many others.

James Taylor has also played host to many events, hosting some of the world’s largest online summits. Amongst these he includes the International Authors Summit, the creative Life Summit, and Event Professionals summit.

Himself an entrepreneur, James Taylor started his own business at the age of seventeen. He went on to launch, build, and sell various businesses in the entertainment, publishing, technology, and education industries in Europe and the USA. Amongst his many awards, he includes the ONTRApreneur of the Year Award from U.S. business and marketing automation leaders ONTRAPORT, and S.D. Southern Prize from ATCO, a Canadian energy services company.

With regards to education, James Taylor holds an M.B.A. and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts.
