A global strategist, coach of high-profile executes, and bestselling author, Jan Mühlfeit is on a personal mission to help individuals, organisations, and countries across the globe unlock human potential. His track record has seen him build and lead successful teams acquired during an extensive 22-year career at the Microsoft Corporation. There, he served in various executive positions, ending his career with the company in 2014 as the European Chairman.
Amongst his various positions at Microsoft, Jan Mühlfeit counts those of Vice President of the Microsoft Public Sector Team in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and Vice President of EMEA Corporate And Government Strategy.
Using his in-depth knowledge and expertise, Jan Mühlfeit is a proven expert on unlocking human potential in all its forms. Coaching individuals to large corporate teams, he helps them uncover their personal strengths and to find the best in others. He has worked with large and small companies in this regard. Amongst them, he counts the likes of Deloitte, Microsoft, UniCredit, Volvo, and Skanska. His methodology, rooted in positive psychology, also includes insights into the world of business, politics, sports, and entertainment. His bestselling business book, ‘The Positive Leader’ which he co-authored with Melina Costi focuses on how energy and happiness are the essential requirements that ‘fuel top-performing teams’.
Jan Mühlfeit, together with Katerina Novotna, has also created a special seminar for children and parents. It guides children to become more self-aware while finding their personal uniqueness. This has led to him, together with Katerina Novotna, writing two bestsellers, i.e., ‘Unlock Your Child’s Potential’, and ‘Family As A Team’.
Coinciding with his time at Microsoft and ending in 2010, Jan Mühlfeit was a moderator of the CT24 morning talk show ‘Rendez-vous’. He also recently hosted the Czech show ‘Hidden Potential’. He is also the host of his own talk show, ‘Premier League Thinking’, broadcasted on the Czech station Youradio.
During his career, Jan Mühlfeit has served on several advisory boards, including, amongst others, those for several European governments in the fields of national competitiveness, education, and ICT. He has also counselled on various WEF, OECD, and EC projects.
As a keynote speaker, Jan Mühlfeit brings to the table his wealth of experience from a business background spanning more than twenty years. His main focus is on understanding and unlocking human potential in all aspects of society, including the business sector. He lives in the Czech Republic and speaks English, Russian, Czech, and Slovak.
