Jason Silva sees himself as a “wonder junkie”. He is the Emmy-nominated host of National Channel’s Brain Games, which has been on air in over a hundred countries and has had the highest ratings in National Geographic’s history. He hosts the National Geographic Series Origins: The Journey of Humankind.
Jason is also the creator of “Shots of Awe”, a web series showcasing microdocumentaries that explores creativity, innovation, futurism, existentialism, technology, the human condition, and metaphysics. In a nutshell, it is a combination of Science, Art, and Philosophy. These videos have gained over 13 million views on the internet and the support of the likes of NASA, Richard Branson, and Ron Howard, to name a few. Jason Silva was also responsible for the “Future of Us” web series. This series explored exponential technology and the future of humanity.
A presenter for the Emmy-winning Current TV, Venezuela-born Jason hosted, wrote, and produced over 100 hours of original content from 2005 to 2011. He left to pursue a career in filmmaking and presenting at numerous events worldwide.
Jason works with an excellent technical AV team that provides visually stunning video backdrops (not slides) and event-opening videos. Jason resides in Amsterdam and the US and presents fluently in English and Spanish. He is comfortable travelling for events worldwide.
