John Sitilides is an international Geopolitical risk analyst and consultant to the U.S. Department of state. John is also a former chairman of the Woodrow Wilson Center Southeast Europe Project. His insights impact political and global strategies of decision makers and opinion leaders, including investors, business and government leaders, and forum and event attendees.  His exploration of the complex geopolitical environment and the impact of decisions concerning markets in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, serve to help his clients better understand and mitigate risks.

In his capacity as the Principal of Trilogy Advisors LLC, John has, since 2005, managed a government affairs portfolio that specializes in environmental regulatory reform, private property rights, energy technology, and natural resource issues.

John Sitilides is also the Chairperson of the U.S. State Department’s Advanced Area Studies Program for Southeastern Europe. This is the primary training institution for American diplomats as well as other U.S. foreign policy professionals.  He has held this position since 2006 under a U.S. government contract.

Although he has a vast experience in the field of politics, John is also a businessman, and as such, features on a number of boards. Furthermore, he is a member of the Association of International Risk Intelligence Professionals, the Association of Former Senate Aides, and the Colombia University Club of Washington.
