Julie Holmes developed her high-energy, cheeky delivery style as a university lecturer. She taught Communication, and states that the toughest audience imaginable are class students, at 8 a.m., after a busy night of ‘socializing’.
After leaving academia, Julie started out corporate life as a software consultant in the 1990’s. She implemented different ERP systems such as JD Edwards, Lawson, and Oracle at SMB and enterprise throughout the United States and Europe.
The last twenty years have seen Julie Holmes build a solid track record in the B2B industry as a highly successful sales rep, product manager, and Marketing Director, working at different companies and startups.
Of herself, at the time, Julie says that she was “…the best ‘worst’ salesperson ever. I hated asking for the sale. So I avoided this dreaded task by making sure I knew what the prospect needed better than they did and I articulated the value so clearly they couldn’t resist.”
Julie is fascinated by business and how it works. A company’s needs, wants, and expectations are deciding factors in their decision-making process.
Holding a Master’s in Communication, Julie’s vast experience in sales, marketing, leadership, and the entrepreneurial environment make her an expert in her particular fields as a speaker where her natural curiosity and spirit are clearly identified.
