Liza Pavlakos knows what it is like to hit rock bottom. The self-made, flourishing entrepreneur’s start in life might be described, by many, as dismal, at best, with little or no chance of getting out of the rut of abuse and abject poverty in which she found herself.
The story of Liza Pavlakos is one that can only be described as one of guts, growth, and glory. The victim of sexual abuse as a child, Liza fled home while very young in order to escape her circumstances, becoming homeless as a result. As a young adult, she had to endure violence and disfigurement. But Liza refused to accept her situation and give up. Instead, she fought back and went on to undertake challenges that allowed her to grow, live her passion, and achieve her goals. The result is the Liza Pavlakos we know today – a successful businesswoman, international motivational speaker, and philanthropist.
By the time Liza was 23, she undertook and successfully completed an epic task, planning and staging a new international beauty pageant – the Miss India International Pageant. This success saw her plunge into the world of entrepreneurship, where she successfully managed to transform a struggling restaurant and bar, Minibar Piccolo, in Melbourne, Australia. This has become one of the most successful cafés in the city. She also managed to transform Finest Alterations. This floundering clothing alteration and tailoring enterprise is now a profitable five-outlet franchise supported by numerous celebrity clients.

Someone who believes in giving back, Liza has established the Liza Pavlakos Foundation, a non-profit supporting worthy causes close to her own heart. These include helping women and children in slums enjoy a better quality of life, empowering women in slums to get an education, better healthcare, and to become financially independent, and lastly, supporting the victims of human trafficking.
Liza has gone on to write her autobiography, ‘The Diamonds Within’, in which she reveals her road to success. According to Liza, “The more the pressure on a diamond within the dark depths of the earth, the more remarkable it turns out to be. Deep within your soul are your own diamonds.” The book is due for publication within the course of 2018.
As a speaker, Liza Pavlakos has been invited to numerous events and has addressed the 10th Annual HR Congress in the Philippines. She was also invited to the 2016 Miss Earth Coronation night. Liza has, thus far, inspired thousands of people at not only international events but guided numerous corporate teams to tap their leadership potential and achieve their business goals as well.
