ÜBERBRANDS founder and managing partner Luis Madureira leads the Brand Building (R)evolution. He helps companies, boards, and business leaders successfully navigate their competitive environment. This he does by helping them make informed decisions with actionable outcomes, supporting the development of winning strategies, and the development of not only innovative products, but services, processes, and business models as well.
Before this, Luis Madureira acted as the global competitive intelligence practice lead for Ogilvy Consulting and had worked with the likes of Coca-Cola, United Coffee, Heineken, Red Bull, and various other world brand leaders. He has held leadership roles, both locally and globally, in areas encompassing strategy, marketing, competitive intelligence, and sales.
Nominated a distinguished Fellow by the Council of Competitive Intelligence Fellowship, Luis Madureira is the chairperson of the SCIP Portugal Chapter. He is also an invited lecturer for Masters and Postgraduation courses at various universities.
The initiator of SMINT, i.e., Social Market Intelligence, Luis Madureira has a concept focusing on competitive intelligence approach in real-time. INNOVaction, another of his concepts, refers to an end-to-end innovation program.
With regards to his education, Luis Madureira graduated from NOVA SBE in economics with a specialisation in marketing. He is also accredited with a Master of Competitive Intelligence by ACI – Academy of Competitive Intelligence. As a current Ph.D. candidate at NOVA IMS, his focus is on information and decision systems.
