An expert in sales and communication, Marc Hogan brings a unique perspective to resilience, change, communication, and sales. In so doing, he inspires people to look for new opportunities, tackle challenges, embrace change, and improve their communication and influencing skills. After completing his university degree in Business and Economics, Marc Hogan took on a job in the sales and marketing department of GEC Marconi, the multinational defense manufacturer. After that, he did a stint at an internal communications agency working for British American Tobacco after which he became a sales executive in the pharmaceutical industry.
In 2008, however, someone challenged Marc Hogan to become a standup comedian and put on a 21-day one-man-show at the Edinburgh festival. The challenger was Jim Lawless of Taming Tigers. Marc accepted the challenge and, with nine months’ preparation time, succeeded. This he did by employing his 7 Keys for Success, resulted in him winning the challenge and becoming a public speaker.
He employs his set of practical tools, what comedy taught him, cutting edge psychological techniques, and good old common sense in his presentations.
