The Executive Director of the NYC MagicLab (a science consortium that explores illusion and digital technology) is a Directors Fellow at the MIT Media Lab and a creative technologist at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Marco is deeply entrenched in the tech industry, and has much interaction with product teams, either in an advisory capacity, as a consult, or developer.
Besides his interest in technology, Marco is probably more well-known as a leading magician and illusionist, wowing audiences by incorporating technology in his talks and shows. This ability saw him win the World Cup of Magic at the tender age of 22 years.
Marco began his performing career as a stage magician and won many awards during this time. But by incorporating his passion for all things technology –related, he has managed to produce something that incorporates his three loves – magic, illusion, and technology.
His interest in the latter has seen the business world and leaders in high-tech industries find his work as a new way to present their products and innovations. Amongst those who have used his services are industry giants such as Sony, Panasonic, Apple, and Lucent. But, other industries have also sat up and taken notice. In the automotive industry, for example, Marco has used his skills to promote or present vehicles for the likes of Toyota, Audi, Nissan, and Mitsubishi. In the healthcare field, his clients include Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, and Parke-Davis, to mention but a few.
