Business strategy and management expert Massimo Tammaro started his professional career at the AIR Force Academy in the USA where he completed his military pilot training. After a stint as an operational fighter pilot and instructor, he went on to join the Italian aerobatic team Frecce Tricolor, becoming the team commander in 2006. His military and aerobatic career have seen him the recipient of various accolades. These include the NATO Medal for operations in former Yugoslavia, the Silver War Badge for Allied Force and Deliberate Force operations, the Syrian Arab Republic 1st degree Training Medal, the Russian Silver Medal for Aeronautical Merit, and the Silver Military Medal for Long Air Navigation.
Going from airplanes to sports cars, he became the Executive Consultant for Ferrari S.p.A in 2011. He worked in Formula 1, proceeded to HR, and then went on to create the ERM function that included a business continuity project. Massimo Tammaro went on to become the company’s business corporate risk management, a position he held until 2017.
In 2015, Massimo Tammaro founded MT – Meta Thinking, “Thinking above, beyond, behind”. He is an advisor, mentor, executive coach, and global speaker. Besides this entrepreneurial venture, he has also joined the TRIUM Global Executive MBA Leadership faculty and works as an academic board member and Capstone Director.
Massimo Tammaro has also, since 2020, taken on the role of CEP of ALPI Aviation, a company also connected to the space industry. He also became a board member of Italiana Assicurazioni later in the same year.
Massimo Tammaro has always worked in international, multicultural contexts. A dynamic speaker with a love of art, he likes new challenges and implementing his ideas. His extraordinary experiences allow him to offer educational, motivational speeches based on real stories. He lives in Italy and speaks Italian and English.
