  • “Mauro Porcini is one of my favorite people to interview. I always know that Mauro will be leading projects and teams that deliver business-changing and, most importantly for the readers I serve, newsworthy results for his employers. I never have to worry about walking away from the interview without something—best practices in design, team building, leadership, execution, etc.—significant for my audience. On top of that, Mauro is one of the most affable, high-level, corporate executives I’ve had the pleasure to interview. His welcoming personality is such that it’s not only evident in the way he greets everyone, from reporters to employees to peers, with a genuine smile but also translates well on camera and the printed page. I believe that this is due not in small part to Mauro’s calm confidence. My experience is that when business executives are that sure of their abilities and their teams’ abilities, they can command complete attention and lead by welcoming others to the table. This is no surprise when you consider Mauro’s track record of success from PepsiCo, 3M and beyond. Mauro pulls on his innate creative curiosity, strategic capabilities and leadership abilities to build strong innovative teams, align his team’s capabilities with strategic business opportunities, and build bridges between traditional business-centric roles and creative roles while enabling both groups to celebrate their differences to deliver rich results that appeal to the soft and hard goals of a consumer-facing brand.”
