His topics explore various sectors of the global and political spectrum, including global criminal networks. He created Efecto Naim’, his groundbreaking television program, in 2011.     Government Leadership Role

    The early 1990s saw Moises Naim hold significant roles in the Venezuelan government. He served as Minister of Trade and Industry, as a director of the Central Bank, and as an executive director at the World Bank. A professor of business and Economics at IESA, Venezuela’s top business school at the time, he went on to take up the role of dean.

    Regarding his educational background, Moises Naim holds an MSc and PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The Venezuelan Academy of Economic Sciences made him an Honorary Member in 2020.
