Speaker's Fee:

D £3 - £5,000

  • Endurance Athlete, Presenter & Speaker & 2018 World Record Solo-Pacific Rowing Attempt.
  • Challenging physical limits and pushing mental limits in some of the world’s most unique terrains.
  • Multiple female world records including paddleboarding the Missouri, cycling the USA & running the length of the UK.

Ness Knight has broken a number of world records at a relatively young age. The record-breaking explorer believes in challenging herself both mentally and physically, and that ordinary people can achieve anything if you but put your mind to it. This she fuels by traversing some of the world’s most difficult terrains, finding and exploring new cultures and gaining an understanding of how they survive and thrive in their communities excite her.

Having already broken numerous world records in 2018 Ness aims to become the first female to solo row across the entire 7,000 miles of the Pacific Ocean.

Ness has, since deciding to quit her nine to five job in digital marketing and consultation, embarked on a career of adventure and met a number of challenges:

  • She was the first female to stand up paddleboard 1000 miles (down America’s Missouri River)
  • Solo cycled (without support) 2000 miles across the USA
  • She was the first female to ever swim the length of UK’s Thames River
  • She has completed a 400-mile run (equaling 15 marathons run back-to-back from London to Land’s End in the UK)
  • Recently completed a Namib Desert solo flat bike expedition in Namibia

Her Namibian expedition saw her traverse one of the world’s most desolate, inhospitable climates, testing her mental and physical abilities to the limit. The hottest day (with the temperature peaking at 49 degrees Celcius) saw her lose consciousness due to heat exhaustion only 200 meters from a fresh lion kill.

But this is not the end of Ness’ adventuring. In May 2018 Ness will  embark on a record-breaking attempt as the first female to row the Pacific Ocean (solo and non-stop). Here, she will have to deal with ocean traffic and giant waves, alone, for up to seven months, facing the likelihood of going without food. It is likely to take somewhere between 6 – 9 months to row across the 7,000 mile ocean. The teamwork, planning and preparation for such a challnge are immense. Physical endurance, technology and extreme mental strength will all be tested to their maximum in this brave world first attempt.

The adventurer, explorer, endurance athlete, and presenter has seen some amazing corners of the world and has no intention of stopping as yet.

“I believe that it is when we challenge ourselves and step outside our comfort zone, that we grow.” – Ness Knight
