Her strategic thoughts substantially expanded data science and artificial intelligence (AI) in her roles as Chief Scientific Advisor at the Vodafone Institute and Chief Data Scientist at Data-Pop Alliance.

She was the first Director of Research in Data Science at Vodafone Global and has held important roles at Microsoft Research and Telefonica R&D.

She has received recognition as an IEEE Fellow (2017), an ACM Distinguished Scientist and Fellow (2015), and a member of the European Association for Artificial Intelligence (2016).
