Olivier Ezratty advises and trains businesses and public services in the development of innovative strategies in deep tech, with a particular focus on quantum technologies. He brings to them an in-depth understanding of scientific, technological, marketing, and ecosystem development. This role is often referred to as that of technology strategist, a label Olivier Ezratty is not comfortable with.
His role has seen him, since 2005, work for various organisations across a span of industries, including the media, telecoms, finance, insurance, and the public sector, amongst various others. Olivier Ezratty has taken on the role of quantum computing and artificial intelligence trainer at the Capgemini Institute, and that of a member of the Scientific Council of ARCEP. He is also an expert with regards to Bpfrance, particularly with regards to quantum technologies’ projects due diligence.
One of his passions is helping startups and innovation communities through coaching and doing startup due diligence for investors.
A highly successful author of various eBooks that receive regular updates, Olivier Ezratty also takes on the role of lecturer at various universities. Amongst these, he includes CentraleSupelec, Telecom Paristech, HEC, Neoma Rouen, and SciencesPro. He delivers his lectures in either French or English.
As the co-founder of Quelques Femmes du Numerique, i.e., Some Digital Women, Olivier Ezratty aims at increasing gender balance in digital professions. This he aims to do by raising awareness about the various options within these professions.
With regards to his prior experience, Olivier Ezratty is a qualified software engineer and developer who started his working career at Sogitec, a Dassault group subsidiary, in 1985. From there he was promoted to Software Engineer and then Head of the Research Department in the Communication Division. He joined Microsoft in France in 1990. His time there saw him gain experience in various marketing areas, going on to launch the first version of Visual Basic in 1991, quickly followed by Windows NT in 1993.
In 1998 Olivier Ezratty became the Marketing and Communication Director for Microsoft France, followed in 2001 as Director of the Develop Division which he created to launch the .NET platform.
As a keynote speaker, Olivier Ezratty regularly appears at corporate and trade events where he talks about a wide range of topics that include healthcare, entrepreneurship, and many more. He lives in France and presents in English and French.
