Pandit describes his journey into and from monkhood to being the founder and CEO of Conscious Living, LLC, in his book, ‘Urban Monk: Exploring Karma, Consciousness, and the Divine’. To make a long story short, Pandit entered the New York City monastery where he lived as a monk for fifteen years after his family lost their multimillion-dollar business. This event was a turning point in his life. It was also during this period that he started drawing parallels between the beliefs of East and West and incorporating certain Eastern principles into the Western mindset.
Pandit Dasa presents audiences with his research on Mindfulness, explaining the importance of leading by example and communicating mindfully while managing your emotions. He also teaches audiences various breathing and focusing exercises that they can implement both at home and in the office. His aim is to help people develop not only positive leadership qualities but to lower stress and anxiety while boosting productivity and emotional intelligence at the same time.
A feature of Pandit’s keynotes is the popular option to have his audiences spend the final 10 minutes of the keynote with their eyes closed in a state of mindfulness. Alternatively, Pandit can return to the mindfulness session later in the day following the keynote delivery.
As companies and organizations seek to rebuild both the social and performance of their teams, Pandit is extremely well placed to speak and guide groups through this process.

Pandit delivered for us. He walked us through all the research that supports why mindfulness is important and it's impact on our health. He closed the session with a guided meditation. The reviews from our team were very positive. Pandit was not the typical speaker we hear at one of these meetings, but he was a welcomed change of pace. I'd happily recommend him to any organization looking for an expert on mindfulness.”

As a keynote speaker at the event, he provided insightful, expert leadership content which was extremely well received. Pandit has lived as the “Urban Monk” (thus the title of his book). I am impressed by his genuine desire to change lives in a positive manner. His delivery is strong and heartfelt, and it is apparent that he lives what he teaches. His positive personal brand will influence his audience.”

Pandit is a very personable and enthusiastic speaker. He has a unique ability to make Mindfulness relevant, accessible and easily applicable for a workplace situation. His highlighting the scientific research on mindfulness satisfied even the biggest skeptics in the audience as he exceeded our expectations in every regard. After his speech and session, many people mentioned they were more relaxed, focused, energized and productive. Everyone that attended is eager to have him back in the near future and highly recommend him as a presenter.”
“I first met Pandit when he came to speak at the Royal Bank of Canada offices in Manhattan. He immediately captured everyone's attention by sharing how he lived as monk for 15 years in New York and now post-monk life, he speaks to corporations on the science and practices of mindfulness. His talk was personable, humorous and research based. His content on how mindfulness and meditation could lower stress and boost productivity was extremely relevant and practical for me and my colleagues who work on the trading floor. We loved his talk so much that we've had him back for an additional two sessions. During his most recent visit, Pandit's content was geared towards our leaders and Managing Directors. His messages on leading by example, appreciating your co-workers, managing emotions, communicating with compassion and leading with humility really resonated with our leadership.”
