Rachit Kapoor wears many caps. This multi-talented individual is a national level cricket player, marketing, product, and advertising development professional, a writer, and much-lauded motivational speaker – all of this with a pinch of panache and a dash of aplomb!

Rachit, who played professional cricket for Delhi and the Steel Authority of India, understands the concept of sportsmanship and teamwork. Unfortunately, he had to give up competitive sports due to a knee injury. It was, however, while still a cricketer that he studied English Literature at Hansraj College, Delhi University, and American Literature at Northwestern University, Chicago, U.S.A.

It was his passion for literature that resulted in Rachit Kapoor becoming a freelance writer, where he regularly contributed to leisure and lifestyle magazines on topics ranging from psychology to marketing to daily experiences.

Rachit’s interest in business saw him further his education by gaining an MBA at the Indian Institute of Planning and Management and winning the Gold Medal during this period. He also became the first student at the business school to win all recognitions. Among these were the Academic Gold and Director’s Silver Medal. While attending the IE Business School in Madrid, Spain, he was awarded the esteemed Marketing Fellowship award as well as coming out tops in all the research competitions.

Rachit Kapoor has over eight years’ marketing and branding experience under his belt and is currently associated with the Gulf Oil International Group where he is their Global Brand and Marketing Manager.

It is, however, his love of storytelling using simple ideas to communicate that led to Rachit’s entrance to the world of speaking, as well as his particular interest in the use of neuroscience, technology, and evangelist marketing. Not only have this talent and these interests stood him in good stead with regards to his speaking career, but it also enables him to shape brands in their subtlest forms.
